Cinderella runs at the EM Forster Theatre from 11 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. Every date and time, the four price bands, the relaxed and BSL shows, and which nights are nearly gone.
Tonbridge’s pantomime this year is Cinderella, at the EM Forster Theatre in the grounds of Tonbridge School on the High Street, TN9 1JP. It runs from Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027.
It is on sale now, and it is further along than most. 47 performances are loaded, four of them schools-only matinees, and the box office already shows the opening night gone and two Saturday and Sunday matinees down to their last three dozen seats.
This is Wicked Productions’ eleventh year at the theatre. The running time is about two hours 30 minutes including an interval, and doors open 45 minutes before each performance.
What it costs
The theatre prices by colour band rather than by day of the week, and the band is printed against each performance in the booking system. There is no online booking fee.
| Band | Adult | Under 16 |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | £32 | £29 |
| Purple | £30 | £27 |
| Green | £23 | £23 |
| Blue, schools only | £16 | £16 |
Green is the cheap band and there are only two Green performances all run: the opening night family special on 11 December, which is already sold out, and the relaxed performance on 16 December, which is not. If price is the deciding factor, the relaxed show on Wednesday 16 December at 6pm is £23 a head for anyone, and it is open to everyone.
After that, the Purple evenings are £2 cheaper than the Gold matinees on the same weekend.
Every performance
Maximum 20 tickets per booking.

Three dark days across the run: Monday 14 December, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The theatre plays on Christmas Eve, three times.
What is nearly gone
The auditorium seats 383. These were the tightest public performances when the box office was checked on 5 September 2026, three months out:
| Performance | Seats left of 383 |
|---|---|
| Sun 20 Dec, 3pm | 29 |
| Sat 19 Dec, 3pm | 31 |
| Thu 24 Dec, 1.30pm | 39 |
| Sat 19 Dec, 11am | 55 |
| Sun 20 Dec, 11am | 69 |
| Thu 24 Dec, 10am | 69 |
| Sun 13 Dec, 3pm | 79 |
The pattern is clear enough to plan around: weekend afternoons in the week before Christmas, and Christmas Eve, go first. The same weekends still had 100 to 350 seats in the evening.
The other end of the run is wide open. Every performance from 26 December onwards had more than 80 seats free, and the two shows on Saturday 2 January had 356 and 341. If you want a cheap, quiet, easy booking, the new-year weekend is it.
The opening night on 11 December is the only public performance marked sold out.
Access performances
- Relaxed performance: Wednesday 16 December, 6pm. Sound is lowered, loud effects are reduced, flashing and strobe lighting is slowed, the house lights stay on at a low level, and there is a quiet area just outside the auditorium you can leave for and return to as often as you need. It is open to everyone.
- BSL interpreted: Friday 18 December, 6pm. An interpreter works on or beside the stage, covering the spoken word and the sound effects.
The cast
Tom Swift plays the dame for the first time, alongside Rhys Whiteside; the two are Siri and Alexa Hardup, the stepsisters. Amanda Swift is the Wicked Stepmother, and Georgia Fawcett returns for a second year as Cinderella.
Getting there and parking
The theatre is inside Tonbridge School’s grounds off the High Street, a few minutes’ walk from the shops and about 15 minutes from Tonbridge station. Box office is 01732 304241 or boxoffice@tonbridge-school.org.
The school has no public car park, so use the town centre ones. Council car parks charge 8am to 8pm every day of the week, which catches the 5pm, 6pm and 7pm performances but not the whole of an evening show. The tariff is £1.60 for an hour, £3.00 for two, £4.10 for three and £6.20 for six, and the machines take coins only, from 10p up, with no change given. Card payment is through RingGo.
Three days are free: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Only one of those, Boxing Day, has a performance.
Full tariffs and the free car parks are in our Tonbridge parking guide, and the roadworks and travel page covers anything shut on the night.
A second pantomime, in January
If you miss Cinderella, the EM Forster Theatre has another one straight after it: Alice in Pantoland, by The Talentz, from 7 to 10 January 2027.

The dates, producer, run and second January pantomime are also on the theatre’s what’s on listing, and the cast, the running time, the eleventh-year note and the relaxed and BSL descriptions are from the theatre’s Cinderella booking page. Seat counts are a point-in-time reading and will change. Car park tariffs and charging hours are from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council’s car park directory.
